The program will offer residents an intense mentor-led sessions and workshops with frequent keynote speakers and pitching opportunities. The program will work with participants on a daily basis through targeted sessions that include site visits to important partner locations, advisory board sessions, pitch events, and access to Gamak events.
Each program class consists of 5 – 10 companies selected to participate in the series of fast-paced, rigorous workshops focused on specific topics critical to their business development. Throughout the program you’ll get feedback continuously from your mentors, potential customers, and other teams. Your idea will be reshaped and refined. In many cases will be changed completely due to the insights you’ve gained.
The last day of the program is investor day, where the founding teams will pitch their now fundable businesses to a large audience of investors and the media. In the weeks leading up to investor day we’ll work on refining your pitch and the content of your presentation in order to maximize the chances of securing further funding.
Regular CEO Coaching: We sit down with our CEOs and discuss the things on their minds in a confidential, no-axe-to-grind manner. Each CEO decides what’s important to them: how to deal with conflicts in their management team, how much money to raise, when; what’s the right compensation package to attract (keep) key talent; etc.
Business Strategy Sessions: Each week, we meet with the management team to address an important element of their business: go-to-market, business model, product roadmap, sales plan, etc.
Investment Preparation: There is perhaps nothing as important or fraught with pitfalls as seeking investment from professionals – whether angels, VCs or private equity. We help with the basics, sources pros/cons, how much, what to do/not to do, the pitch deck and rehearsals.
Seminars and Workshops: Accounting and banking, IP, CEO Roundtables, business development, real estate, public relations, social media and marketing, etc. We invite experts in their field to give our management teams advice and knowledge on subjects that make the difference.
